I’m Vio, a student at the University of Creative Arts doing an Illustration degree. I make narrative focused character design. I enjoy animation and have 8 years of amature experience with it. I find traditional to feel more natural and rough so I like to reflect that in my work! I sketch a lot traditionally as its the best way for me to start! I love to make art based off preexisting characters from fandoms and animated shows I like. I have a special interest in TADC (The Amazing Digital Circus) where combining a “children’s” style medium with mature themes has made me interested in liminality and colour, being my current fascination! Using digital helps with exploring colour with multiple choices, since I love experimenting in my work and I'm down to try anything. I work naturally with earthy tones and nature, as it brings me a sense of comfort.
